UATE became a member of Robotex International union and on November 9 will host Robotex Armenia: First International robotics contest in the country
UATE became a member of Robotex International Association and will host the First International Robotex Armenia Contest on 9th of November, 2019
The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UITE) has joined the Robotex International Association. The latter consolidates around 50 countries, such as the United States, China, India, Greece, Estonia, Colombia and a number of others which are engaged in the development of the robotics sector.
As a result of cooperation, UATE will organize the first international Robotex Armenia Contest on 9th of November, 2019 at which both Armath engineering laboratories, the members of Robotex international Union, as well as other interested individuals and companies will take part. It will be held under the slogan “Smart city”
“The Union has set a goal to turn Armenia into a center for automated robot competitions and in this respect invites world contests of the sector to Armenia to make it internationally recognized. This time, in particular, it is the Robotex contest», - Mr. Karen Vardanyan, the UATE CEO stressed.
The aim of the Contest is to encourage interest in the development of robotics, programming and design, and the development of robotics and engineering thinking.
Hosting this high-class international contest is a great responsibility and a great source of excitement and enthusiasm for young people who are engaged in robotics. It is a significant platform where robotics and programming can demonstrate their skills, abilities, and knowledge.
