Wireless NetSci startup

Today people use various wireless and wired telecommunication equipment. 

So, it was necessary to study the dangers of these, depending on the frequency of use during the day, to decide how to safely use modern telecommunications technologies maintaining health norms.

And so the students of Armat IL of N1 school after Nerses Ahataraketsi (14 years old Angelina Kirakosyan, Albert Torosyan, and 16 years old Tigran Parvanyan) created the Wireless NetSci startup. 

The research was started at the Ashtarak Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia under the guidance of teacher Hasmik Martirosyan և PMS (Physical and Mathematical Sciences) Doctor Arsen Hakhumyan.

The students visited the RFEI of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia several times, listened to a lecture, got acquainted with the basics of mobile communication, the Bluetooth wireless communication system, its working principles, set up a LAN network. Then, the scientific experiment was carried out with the help of the Network Analyzer device, which is the first և the only one in Armenia.

Bluetooth is a wireless communication system that exchanges information between different devices (computer, telephone, headphones, mouse, keyboard, tablet, printer, etc.)...

The exchange of information takes place through the transmission-reception of radio waves, during which an electromagnetic field is radiated.

During the experiment, the intensity of the electromagnetic field created while talking on a cell phone was measured. When using a Bluetooth system, the intensity of the electromagnetic field radiation is I=1mW/sm2, and the human absorption is 0.005 mW/sm2, which is many times less than the allowable limit (0.5).

Both through scientific experiments and the corresponding formula calculations, they came to the following conclusion: The Bluetooth system is completely safe to use. The impact of a Bluetooth wireless communication system on a person (in a network LAN) is minimal, 100 times lower than normal. The research was presented to the Armenian Inter-School Science Festival with the approval of the RA Minister of Education and Science and at the DigiTec Expo exhibition.
