IT’s a Village social entrepreneurship program

The idea to open an online store IT's a Village arose in December 2019, since then, work has begun on opening the store. The first order was placed on January 14, 2020. This day is considered the birthday of IT's a Village.

The idea was originally by Mayis Margaryan, co-founder of MEM NGO. Previously, all Armatհ EL had the idea to open an online store and sell goods, as before they were sold at exhibitions and fairs, but the work was not coordinated. IT's a Village solved this problem. Then, the idea was joined by Milena Tshagհaryan, from Armatհ EL in Chamarak High School, as co-founder and project manager, and coach, Arayik Avalyan as a technical adviser. 

The team has changed over time. Now the team includes Ani Ghazaryan, as the head and co-founder of the program, and Mariam Sahakyan, as the project coordinator.

The work is done as follows։ the customer writes on IT's a Village Facebook page, mentions which product is preferred, gets details, and the coordinators of IT's a Village Facebook page respond to the customer, giving him advice. Then the order is fixed and delivered.

The children put a lot of love and energy into the preparation of the works, which in turn are appreciated by the observer due to their unique style. IT's a Village online store often organizes interesting competitions, during which the winner gets interesting and unique products made by the students of Armath Engineering Laboratories.
