On 17th of December, 2011 the final stage of the minesweepers robots contest was organized. 5 teams participated in the final stage of the contest: "Arnet", "Mim", "Revoteq", "Mimehagr", "Vozni". Unfortunately, the teams could not solve the task of the contest, so jury decided to give them the merit prizes. The special prize of the Swiss ABB company was given to "Vozni" team, the price was 200 000 AMD.
The "Mim" team, which was formed by girls, get the prize for "Courage" – 100 000 AMD.
The rest 3 teams also get the merit awards, 100 000 AMD each team.
Compared to the same competition in 2010, we can say that this year, teams had used more sophisticated technical solutions.
The organizer of the contest was UITE, general sponsor was VivaCell MTS, the sponsor of the special prize was ABB company, technical sponsor was Artin Varujan company, supporters were Ministry of Defence, Tumo center for creative technologies, Microsoft innovation center.
