UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE COMPETITION /2016
The final stage of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles competition, held by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) and Ucom, took place on July 2 at the Arzni airport. The Deputy Minister of Defense David Pakhchanyan, the Head of the Military Aviation Institute Colonel Daniel Balayan, the Executive Director of the UATE Karen Vardanyan, the General Director of Ucom Hayk Yesayan, members of professional jury and other guests and participants took part at the event.
The tasks of the "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" competition, that is to reach the target, throw 300-gram cargo and return back have successfully implemented the Fimetech, the ArmBG and the TSD teams which respectively won the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd places with money awards of 600 000, 400 000 and 260 000 AMD.
The other teams such as «Epic Dron», «iUAV», «Eagle Eye», «Sky protectors», «Artsiv», «Savarnak» and «Roboethcmiadzin» have also took part at the competition.
