Armath at DigiTec 2017
During DigiTec 2017 beside the pavillion of Armath the "Object finding and sorting robots" and first "3D modeling" contests were organized.
About 20 teams applied for object finding and sorting robots contest from the Armath engineering laboratories of Yerevan and regions of Armenia. The robot, which was made by the team from the secondary school of Artsvaberd village of Tavush region solved the task of the contest in best way and won the contest.
All teams applied for the contest gave the necessary details from UITE, 3 months worked for the project and 10-12 teams from Tavush, Lori, Gegharkunik, Shirak, regions and Yerevan had the opportunity to present their robots during the final stage.
The task of the contest was to make the robot, which was regulated automatically. The robot must sort by colors the triangular, spherical and cube shaped items on the field, take them and move to the storage. There are fixed points for any action. As the result of the contest the team from Arstvaberd won the first place, on the second place was the high school of Sevan, on the third place was the team from high school number 5 from Vanadzor.
Armat group leaders and students made their first attempts in the three-dimensional modeling competition. The members of the jury highly appreciated the diligence and the first experience of the participants. It was decided to make the competition traditional and annual.
