"Open game" contest/2013
On October 26th, the third Armenian championship of the "Open Game" computer games and mobile applications developers ended.
"Best game" award this year was given to Henrik Hakobyan's "FastFood" game. It is designed for Android OS, Windows, Linux systems. The author of the best game received a reward of 350.000 AMD. The same game also won "Best design" award and got the prize of 200.000AMD.
In the "Best mobile game" nomination the prize was shared between Nako games team with its "Princess Cakes" game and Apollosoft team with its "Shelly" game. Each of the mentioned teams received a reward of 150.000 AMD.
"Best Game Play" " award was granted to Vahram Daryan with his "Koala Bears" game, whose reward made up 200.000 AMD.
In the "Best 3D Solution" nomination won Dix Games team with its "The curse of evil"game and received a reward of 200.000 AMD. "Best technological solution" award was given to Tigran Niksalyan for "My Heart`s Journey" game. The latter was given a reward of 200.000 AMD. In the "Best Junior" nomination the award was given to Alen Afrikyan for "Coca game". He received a reward of 150.000 AMD.
Besides the mentioned awards the Jury decided to give also encouraging prizes to Suren Antonyan's "Mission Incomplete", Vardan Hambardzumyan's "Black Edition" and Eduard Aleksanyan's "Eggs Boom" games. Each were granted a reward of 50000 AMD.
During the Championship, the visitors also had an opportunity to vote for their favorite games. In the "Public Prize" nomination won the Nako games team with its "Princess Cakes" game.
