Shirak

The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises, with the support of VXsoft and with the support of the Shirak Regional Government, initiated the youth application programming contest "DigiCode" in the Gyumri Technology Center of the Shirak region.
162 applications were submitted to the competition, 51 of which made it to the final. This year DigiCode contestants used Scratch, K-Turtle and Python programming languages and 16 schoolchildren took part in the Olympiad of "KTurtle" - the best algorithmic solution. The participants presented their works to the panel of judges and competed in the following categories: Best Game, Best interactive animation, Best drawing and design and Devices integrate Python program. It is noteworthy that this year the contest participants came up with the most optimal solutions.

Winners in 8 nominations were:

• “Best Game” Narek Martirosyan (Gyumri No6 Primary school, up to 13 years old),
• “Best Game” Hakob Ayvazyan (Gyumri No6 Primary school, over 13 years old),
• “Best interactive animation” Anna Manukyan (Gyumri No4 Primary school, up to 13 years old),
• “Best interactive animation” Samvel Aghababyan (Maralik industrial college, over 13 years old),
• “Best drawing և design” Susanna Hovhannisyan (Nor Kyank secondary school),
• “Devices integrate Python program” Gor Gevorgyan (Gyumri “Family” center),
• Srap Gevorgyan- “KTurtle” program - the best algorithmic solution in the Olympiad,(Gyumri number 20 basic school, up to 13 years old),
• Narek Abrahamyan- KTurtle”-the best algorithmic solution in the Olympiad (Artik No5 Primary school, over 13 years old),
• Hakob Ayvazyan- Shirak Regional Government prize (Gyumri number 6 basic school).

                                                                  Lori

The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises, with the support of VXsoft and with the support of the Lori Regional Government, initiated the youth application programming contest "DigiCode" in the Vanadzor Technology Center of the Lori region. 186 applications were submitted to the competition, 42 of which made it to the final and 23 schoolchildren took part in the Olympiad of "KTurtle" - the best algorithmic solution.

Winners in 8 nominations were:

• “Best Game” Knar Vardanyan (Ghursali secondary school, up to 13 years old),
• “Best Game” Arthur Ghazaryan (Vanadzor number 24 basic school, over 13 years old),
• “Best interactive animation” Arame Dunamalyan, Hovhannes Karapetyan (Shenavan secondary school, up to 13 years old),
• “Best interactive animation” Tatevik Israyelyan (Akhtala number 1 secondary school, over 13 years old),
• “Best drawing և design” Armaida Hovakimyan (Vanadzor number 2 secondary schooll),
• “Devices integrate Python program” Aren Abrahamyan, Ashot Movsisyan (Vanadzor number 5 high school),
• Borik Grigoryan- “KTurtle” program - the best algorithmic solution in the Olympiad,(Vanadzor number 5 school, up to 13 years old),
• Vahe Zalinyan and Hovik Martirosyan - KTurtle”-the best algorithmic solution in the Olympiad (Vanadzor number 2 school, over 13 years old).

                                                                  Final

On 8 May the youth application programming contest "DigiCode 2021" republican stage took place at the American University of Armenia. 748 applications were submitted to the competition, 69 of which made it to the final, and 19 schoolchildren took part in the Olympiad of "KTurtle" - the best algorithmic solution. 
For the first time, DigiCode 2021 was held at the international level, because we have had participants from Georgia and India.

 . Hayuhi Mikayelyan and Emma Manukyan of the educational project named The world of children (Gavar number 5 basic school, up to 13 years old),
 . Samvel Aghababyan of the educational project named Answer and Question (Maralik vocational school, over 13 years old),
 . Narek Sargsyan and Gevorg Sargsyan of the project named Automatic greenhouse control system (PhysMath school),
 . Gagik Arshakyan “KTurtle” program - the best algorithmic solution in the Olympiad (up to 13 years old, Berd number 3 basic school),
 . Grigor Grigoryan  “KTurtle” program - the best algorithmic solution in the Olympiad (over 13 years old, PhysMath school),
The participants in the winning nominations received mobile phones և cash incentive prizes.
