Aragatsotn, v.Agarak, secondary school, Armath Lab named after Youri Gagarin

Agarak’s Armath Engineering Lab was founded on 7 October 2018 by the Union of Advanced Technologies Enterprises via the financial support of benefactor Hrachya Poghosyan.
It’s named after Youri Gagarin who was the USSR hero and the first cosmonaut of the world. It was officially allowed by Yelena Gagarina, the general director of Kreml Museum in Moscow.
Now in the laboratory are studying about 35 students. They study Scratch, K-Turtle programming platforms and JavaScript or Python.
Also, they study 3D Modelling/Printing, CNC wood cutting, and Robotics via SERob 3 and Arduino systems.
On 1-19 July, 2019 9 of the students from Agarak’s Lab participated in #armathtechnocamp19.  The juniors group of the Lab got the 3-rd place in Line Following Robot’s contest and the teenagers group got the 1-st place in Smart City of Robots contest.
The students of Agarak’s Armath Engineering Laboratory actively participate in various Hackathons and also non-formal trainings.
