Distance learning
One of the most significant goals of the Armath Engineering Laboratories is to make engineering education available to all children. To reach our aim we have created a distance learning platform that enables all kids to get a free technology education from any part of the world.
We offer online IT courses.
Guide for Starting Armath Remote education
FOR COACHESOne of the Armath Engineering Laboratories' most significant goals is to make engineering education available to all children. Due to the pandemic, the world is rapidly changing. Many educational processes are shifting to online and remote models, becoming a part of traditional education.
In order to become a part of the Armath community and start learning online programming, the students are required to have:
1. Personal computer or Laptop
2. Internet (e.g. 3MB/s+, 4G)
3. Speaker with microphone (e.g. Loudspeaker, earphone, headset)
4. Zoom platform (can be downloaded from here)
5. Gmail and Tinkercad accounts.
6. AnyDesk for PCs only (can be downloaded from here)
7. Aghues installed for PCs
OPTIONAL
• Krisp for noise-cleaning
• Linux OS/Ubuntu or Debian
• Tutorial for creating project and activity in Armath.am website
Before the start of the online class, coaches need to:
1. Schedule a Zoom Meeting and send the link and the details of the
meeting to the students (via e-mail/SMS).
2. Create the slides/presentation of the course (google slides ).
3. Include some exercises and tasks that would require peer-to-peer
learning, team working and feedback exchange among the students.
DURING THE ONLINE MEETING
4. Guide the students via remote connection (e.g. AnyDesk,
TeamViewer) and show how they can download and install Aghues
on their personal computers.
5. Open TinkerCad class and assist the students to connect to the
Arduino classes.
